New KNB district office building opened in Farkhor district

The facility was built as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and is intended to provide modern conditions for staff of the national security agencies. The Head of State was informed that the multi-storey building was constructed with a modern design and the necessary infrastructure.

The basement contains a gym, archive and other auxiliary rooms, while the other floors include offices, a canteen, a meeting hall, a library and service accommodation for staff. A modern lift has been installed, and the engineering infrastructure has also been fully adapted to current requirements.

Construction began in April 2023, and 40 local residents were given temporary jobs during the works. The grounds have been landscaped with ornamental shrubs and shade trees, and a gazebo and a playground have been built.
