Tajikistan and UNICEF cooperation in environmental protection discussed

In Dushanbe, current issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNICEF, including bilateral work under several priority programmes, were discussed at a meeting between Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Gabriella Akimova, the newly appointed Head of the UNICEF Representation in Tajikistan.

According to Khovar, citing the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the sides also discussed cooperation within priority programmes in environmental protection that align with the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030, as well as priorities for the Joint Work Plan for 2027.
