Entrepreneurs created more than 4 million jobs in the past 25 years

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-15 /Khovar/. On the eve of the 35th anniversary of State Independence, more than 36,000 production, social and infrastructure facilities, including thousands of kilometres of roads, were built and renovated with the contribution of entrepreneurs, investors and philanthropists. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, at a meeting with the country’s entrepreneurs and investors. The Head of State said that during the years of independence, more than 3,300 industrial enterprises and workshops, over 4,300 education facilities, 2,200 health facilities, 2,080 sports grounds and 5,100 service facilities had been built, renovated and put into use with the participation of entrepreneurs and benefactors. He added that their contribution also helped renovate 15,000 kilometres of local roads and build 734 bridges. Emomali Rahmon thanked all entrepreneurs, investors and philanthropists for their significant contribution to the country’s development and improvement.
