Rudaki: a beacon of national enlightenment

In the history of every nation there are figures whose names go beyond one era and become part of the people's spiritual memory. For the Tajik nation, Abuabdullo Rudaki is one such great figure.

He was not only the founder of classical Tajik-Persian literature, but also one of the greatest standard-bearers of humane, wise and moral writing in our literature.
