Dushanbe discusses implementation of joint projects and programmes with UNICEF representative

Tajikistan’s finance minister met UNICEF’s representative in Dushanbe to discuss current cooperation and shared priorities.
On 27 October 2026 in Dushanbe, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Fayziddin Qahhorzoda met with Ms Gabriella Ivonna Akimova, Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Tajikistan. The Ministry of Finance of the republic provided the information to Khovar.
The two sides reviewed the current state of cooperation and the priorities for work in the relevant areas. They also discussed financing for social sectors, human capital development, early support for children, improving teachers’ skills, and the implementation of joint projects and programmes.
