Autumn draft plan in Khatlon Region fulfilled by 76 percent

A solemn send-off ceremony for conscripts into military service was held in the city of Bokhtar in Khatlon Region. At the event, it was announced that the draft plan had been 76 percent fulfilled on the first day.

It was stressed that service in the Armed Forces of Tajikistan is considered a school of courage, discipline and loyalty to the homeland. Officials also said the autumn call-up should continue within the law, with transparency and respect for citizens' rights and dignity.

The event concluded with a traditional bread-blessing ceremony led by the conscripts' mothers, followed by a cultural programme featuring performers and singers from Khatlon Region.
