Meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov

At the start of the talks, the Head of State of Tajikistan thanked the President of Turkmenistan for the invitation and warm welcome, and underlined the steady development of relations between the two countries across all areas of mutual interest.

The two leaders expressed their readiness to further advance this process in the spirit of deep strategic partnership. The meeting covered political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, transport and logistics, transit, energy and fuel, as well as cultural and humanitarian ties. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
