Telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. At the start of the call, the President of Uzbekistan was the first to ring and congratulated the Tajik head of state on his birthday.
During the conversation, the two heads of state discussed the state and prospects of friendly and good-neighbourly relations within the framework of the strategic partnership and alliance between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and supported continued joint efforts to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
They also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
