Leader of the Nation says Korea’s role in implementing social programmes in Tajikistan is important

Today, during high-level talks between Tajikistan and Korea, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, said Korea’s role is important in implementing social programmes in the country, training highly qualified personnel and developing human capital through educational and academic programmes, as well as providing state scholarship quotas for Tajik citizens.

It was also proposed to increase the number of these scholarships, especially in information technology, artificial intelligence, medicine, aviation and engineering, and to give priority to expanding relations between the two countries in tourism and organising direct flights between Tajikistan and Korea.
