Emomali Rahmon inaugurates Tamdid aluminium and plastic doors and windows plant in Dushanbe

According to Khovar, the plant was built to support domestic production, expand the country’s industrial capacity, supply the home market with quality goods and create jobs. Modern equipment for manufacturing and installation was brought in from Italy, Turkey and the People’s Republic of China.

The plant has four automated production lines and a capacity of up to 100 items per shift. Its launch will create 35 permanent jobs. A second phase of the project is also planned, including a modern glass-processing workshop with annual capacity of 36,000 units and 100 more jobs.
