35 years of independence, 35 years of prosperity with the Rogun hydropower plant; a ceremonial event was held

On the initiative of the Central Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, a ceremonial event titled “35 years of Independence — 35 years of prosperity with the Rogun hydropower plant” was held today at the Rogun hydropower plant.

The event was organised to properly mark the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, to honour the achievements of the independence period, to strengthen patriotism and national self-awareness, and to recognise the labour of those who built this century's major project, the Rogun hydropower plant.
