President of Tajikistan: 760 billion somoni have been channelled into the country’s economic development over the past 25 years

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan said at a meeting with entrepreneurs and investors that these funds were used to build power plants and transmission lines, roads, bridges and tunnels, industrial enterprises and social facilities.

He said domestic and foreign investment should help create new production capacity, jobs and infrastructure. He also called for full implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan on Investment and Incentives for Investment Activity and the Strategy for Attracting Investment up to 2040.
