Tajikistan’s representative takes part in the 6th session of the UNECE Forum of Mayors

Sharaf Sheralizoda, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Office and other international organisations in Geneva, took part in the 6th session of the Forum of Mayors of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) on 12-13 October 2026.

The session discussed urban sustainability, road safety, environmental quality, innovation and creativity, inclusive urban planning, strengthening the resilience of cities in emergencies, as well as housing provision for the population and the protection of cultural and natural heritage.
