35th anniversary of State Independence: new drinking water line and social facilities commissioned in Tojikobod district

DUSHANBE, 12.09.2026 /NIAT Khovar/. According to the Tojikobod district executive authority, as part of development works and on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, several new facilities in education, sport, tourism, trade and services were built and put into operation in the district. These facilities are intended to improve living, learning, leisure and service conditions for local residents. The commissioning of new drinking water lines in Zafarshon, Navobod, Nushori Bolo and Tojikobod town is important for improving access to clean water and raising living standards. The new facilities in education, sport, tourism, trade and services are also expected to create a better environment for young people, support domestic and ecological tourism, help generate new jobs and improve service quality. The works were carried out in line with the constructive policy of Emomali Rahmon.
