New modern dormitory opened in Kulob for pupils of School-Boarding No. 1

According to Khovar, the new dormitory and its social and sports infrastructure were built to significantly improve living, study, rest and physical development conditions for the pupils. The building contains 14 bedrooms, 160 beds, 2 large halls for play and developmental activities, 5 offices and auxiliary sections, and it is equipped with a backup power system based on solar energy.

A vertical well more than 100 m deep was also prepared to supply the institution with water, giving the boarding school a permanent water source. A subsidiary farm operates near the school, where more than 670 fruit trees have been planted. Around 150 school-age pupils are cared for around the clock at School-Boarding No. 1 in Kulob.
