Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea to develop cooperation in railways
The Tajik transport minister and South Korea’s minister of land, infrastructure and transport discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in transport and infrastructure in Seoul.
As part of the Tajik delegation’s participation in high-level events in the Republic of Korea, a meeting was held on 15 September 2026 between Tajikistan’s Minister of Transport Azim Ibrohim and South Korea’s Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Yoon-deok.
The two sides discussed expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation in transport, developing transport infrastructure, training and upgrading personnel, and implementing joint initiatives.
