The number of active business entities in Tajikistan has risen by more than 100000

DUSHANBE, 11.09.2026 /Khovar/. In Tajikistan, within the framework of structural and economic reforms, steady measures are being taken to improve the business and investment climate, reduce administrative barriers and simplify public services. The process has been advanced through the development of the private sector, support for investment and entrepreneurship, the restructuring of agricultural holdings, the establishment of workshops and manufacturing enterprises, and the wider provision of financial and banking services.

As a result of the reforms implemented, the number of active business entities rose from 276000 in 2015 to 381000 units in 2025. Of these, 345000 are individual entrepreneurs, which is 101000 more than 10 years ago.
