Premiere of the film

According to Khovar, the premiere of the joint Tajik-Uzbek feature film "Shining of the Stars: Jami and Navoi" will take place at the Vatan cinema in Dushanbe.

The screening is being held as part of the 3rd National Cinema Award "Toji Somon" and is dedicated to Tajik Cinema Day.

The film was made on the initiative of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev by Tajikfilm and the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan. Production took place in 2024-2025, and the work presents shared historical themes and the role of Jami and Navoi in literature, culture and humanistic values.
