UN General Assembly resolution on the International Day of Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence presented at the OSCE

The UN General Assembly resolution on the International Day of Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence was presented in Prague during the annual meeting of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) on economic and environmental issues. The resolution was adopted on 2026-08-31 at the initiative of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Tajikistan’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Manuchehr Jobir, said the adoption of the resolution continues the consistent policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, on the development of artificial intelligence, new technologies and their responsible use. He said it provides a favourable basis for strengthening international cooperation and exchanging best practices.
