More than 50 industrial enterprises operate in Guliston

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-15 /Khovar/. In the first 9 months of 2026, more than 50 industrial enterprises operated in Guliston, Sughd region, and 5,385 people were employed there. During this period, the industrial enterprises produced goods worth 5 billion 269.0 million somoni, which is 145.2 percent higher, or 1 billion 697.5 million somoni more, than in the same period of 2025 at current prices.

According to Guliston city authorities quoted by Khovar, 96.4 percent of the output was produced by industrial enterprises, while 3.6 percent came from paid services and the private sector. In September 2026, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the large Adrasmon ore-processing industrial enterprise resumed operations and remains important for the city's economy.
