Khhatlon region's social and economic development programme for 2026-2030 is 31.2% implemented

DUSHANBE, 18.10.2026 /Khovar/. Within the Khhatlon region's Social and Economic Development Programme for 2026-2030, 26 projects worth 1.2 billion somoni have been implemented, bringing overall programme execution to 31.2%, Khovar reported, citing the press service of the Khhatlon region governor.

During this period, the region's short-term regional development indicator reached 37 billion 152 million somoni, and the real growth rate was 8.1%. The region's share in the republic's short-term economic development indicator stood at 27.3%.

In the first nine months of 2026, agricultural output rose by 8.2%, industrial output by 15.5%, trade turnover by 36.7% and paid services by 13%. Freight transport increased by 18.8% and passenger transport by 9.3%.
