Expansion of direct business ties between Tajikistan and Iran discussed
On 23 September 2026 in Dushanbe, officials from Tajikistan's State Committee on Investment and State Property Management met officials from Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade. The sides discussed investment opportunities, priority areas for cooperation and possible joint projects.
On 23 September 2026 in Dushanbe, a meeting was held between the leadership of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan and the leadership of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Khovar, citing the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management, Tajikistan's investment opportunities were presented at the meeting. The two sides discussed priority areas of cooperation, investment attraction and the possibility of implementing joint investment projects.
Particular attention was paid to expanding direct business ties, making use of existing opportunities and launching joint initiatives. The participants expressed readiness to continue dialogue and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the investment sphere.
