Dushanbe power and heating centres begin operations

DUSHANBE, 06-10-2026 /Khovar/. According to the Dushanbe City Heating Networks institution, heating pipelines in the Ismoili Somoni and Sino districts of the capital have begun trial operation.

The main pipes of Dushanbe's power and heating centres have been filled with water and are fully ready to supply 4 districts of the city, with commissioning to proceed in stages. A total of 3300 buildings and facilities are expected to receive heat this year.

Residents have been asked to check the heating pipes and equipment in their homes, workplaces and offices, and to prepare for receiving hot water. The report says that using heat produced by these centres will help save electricity in the capital during winter.
