Sectoral panel meeting on “Development Partnership: banking and insurance decisions for the business community” held

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-15 — A sectoral panel meeting titled “Development Partnership: banking and insurance decisions for the business community” was held in Dushanbe as part of the “Tajikistan, Forward!” entrepreneurship forum.

Sirojiddin Ikromi, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, said the business community is one of the main driving forces of Tajikistan’s economy and plays an important role in creating new jobs, developing domestic production and strengthening the country’s economic capacity. He said the government is implementing a range of state initiatives and programmes to improve the investment climate and support entrepreneurship.

Participants from the National Bank of Tajikistan, financial and insurance organisations, international financial institutions and the private sector discussed the banking system, lending, financing investment projects, digital services, payment infrastructure, Islamic banking and the insurance market.
