20th Delphic Games of the youth of CIS member states to open in Dushanbe

On 2026-10-06, Dushanbe will host the opening ceremony of the 20th Delphic Games of the youth of CIS member states. The event brings together participants from 9 countries and 10 artistic disciplines.
According to Khovar, the opening ceremony of the 20th Delphic Games of the youth of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held today at 17:00 at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Tajikistan named after S. Ayni.
This is the second time the Delphic Games are being held in Tajikistan. Young talents aged 10 to 25 from 9 CIS countries are taking part. A separate international conference will also be held today at the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan on the role of the Delphic Games in supporting young talent, developing creative industries and tourism in the CIS.
The competitions will take place at several cultural venues in the capital across 10 categories. The organisers are the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan and the International Delphic Committee, and the event is held under the patronage of President Emomali Rahmon.
