In Dushanbe, strengthening cooperation between the National Museum of Tajikistan and the British Council was discussed
In Dushanbe, the sides discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation in culture, cultural heritage protection, professional development for specialists, and exchange of experience in the museum sector.
The discussion took place at a meeting between the director of the National Museum of Tajikistan, Zafarsho Ibrohimzoda, the head of the British Council representation in Uzbekistan and cluster director for Central Asia, Michael Howlett, and representatives of the British side in Dushanbe.
Information was also presented on the National Museum's international activities, including exhibitions abroad and preparations for the international exhibition "Tajikistan — a country of rare heritage" at the Museum of Civilisation in Rome, Italy.
