Statistics agency: number of business entities in Tajikistan has increased

As of 1 October 2026, Tajikistan had 401.1 thousand active business entities on the register, which is 18.2 thousand, or 4.8%, more than in the same period of 2025.
DUSHANBE, 29.10.2026 /Khovar/. As of 1 October 2026, 401.1 thousand active business entities were registered in the republic, including 42.5 thousand legal entities and 358.6 thousand individual entrepreneurs.
In January-September 2026, a total of 1,771 newly established legal entities were registered, most of them in Dushanbe. The number of active individual entrepreneurs as of 1 October 2026 stood at 358.6 thousand, up 5.0% compared with the same period of 2025.
