Dear compatriots, culturally minded residents of the capital! Every year on 5 October, our beloved country marks Tajik State Language Day with particular ceremony. On this auspicious occasion, I sincerely congratulate all of you. The message says that, thanks to the wise and culture-promoting policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, the Tajik language has strengthened its place as one of the world's oldest and most beautiful languages and has become a main factor of nationwide unity, a symbol of existence and a priceless spiritual treasury of the nation. It also says that, during the years of independence, important initiatives have been implemented to strengthen the legal foundations for the use of the state language and to protect the purity of the literary language. In conclusion, health, peace, happiness and success are wished for all fellow citizens at home and abroad in preserving and developing the mother tongue.
