Tajikistan is preparing to host the SCO International Specialised Exhibition on Transport and Logistics
At a meeting between the head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chinese Embassy’s adviser on trade and economic affairs in Dushanbe, participants discussed private-sector trade and investment ties and the holding of the SCO transport and logistics exhibition.
Tajikistan is preparing to host the International Specialised Exhibition “Transport and Logistics of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)”. The issue was discussed on 21 September at a meeting between Farhodshoh Rahmonalizoda, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Sun He, adviser on trade and economic affairs at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Tajikistan.
The talks covered a range of sectoral issues linked to the development of private-sector trade and investment ties and the diversification of foreign trade. The main focus was the organisation of the exhibition and the meeting of the SCO Business Council Working Group on transport and logistics, both due to take place in Dushanbe on 19-21 October.
