Cooperation between Tajikistan’s National Academy of Sciences and the Science and Technology Department of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is set to expand
At a meeting in Dushanbe, the president of Tajikistan’s National Academy of Sciences discussed broader bilateral ties and joint projects with a deputy director-general of China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Science and Technology Department.
In Dushanbe today, Qobiljon Khushvahtzoda, president of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, met Husheng Xu, deputy director-general of the Science and Technology Department of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. The talks focused on expanding bilateral ties and implementing joint projects in science and technology.
The two sides highlighted potential joint research in energy, geology, seismology, environmental protection, natural resource studies, digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
